Skiing, Snowboarding, Fun at the Loser

The family ski resort Loser in Altaussee in the Styrian Salzkammergut is over 1,000 meters high. With 33 excellently groomed slopes, the Loser offers everything a skier’s heart desires.

The modern 6-seater chairlifts provide comfortable transport – undisturbed fun on the slopes and no long waiting times.

The Funpark “Loserfenster” offers pure action. Freeriders enjoy the deep snow freedom above the tree line on the high plateau. Beginners glide gently over Austria’s longest family run with 9,000 m length on the Loser-panoramic road. The Freeride Areas are unique and among the most spectacular in the Alps.

The ski resort Loser provides space for gliding, carving and swinging – for beginners, advanced and perfect on the newly optimized and excellently groomed slopes.

At your stop, cozy ski huts await you directly at the slopes. Thanks to the optimal altitude and the new full snowmaking, the Loser will ensure snow safety and fun on the slopes until the spring.

Of course, you can rent a suitable ski equipment at one of the two ski schools in Altaussee – for example at the Snow & Mountain Sports Ski School, Lichtersberg 87, 8992 Altaussee, [Snow & Mountain Sports].

Whether skiing, carving, snowboarding or telemarking – from beginners to professionals and from snow dwarves to ski bunnies – for every type of gliding – from carving to cross-country skiing to snowboarding and for all ages, the ski instructors of both ski schools in Altaussee have the right training and competence.
